Two Short Poems

I

HE HAS BANISHED FRIGHT-FILLED NIGHT

Raise the windows on the morning
To let bird’s dawn song flow in
With golden light of morning’s glory
Come to free the world of sin.
The world is breathed anew again
And filled your senses with delight.
He has made it all begin.
He has banished fright-filled night.

II

WING, LEAF

Wing, leaf, breeze and shadow
Bend, blend, sway. Music hallow
Colors light, sounds all choral
Mysterious, immortal;
Joins all “Mornings’ Minion”
In symphony unending.
